Data Analyst, IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Analyst position is within Prolink’s Information Technology department and partners with key stakeholders to test and evaluate software, websites, systems and similar products to ensure they meet organizational standards. This position will be responsible for executing tests and processes to ensure project objectives are met. The ideal candidate will possess an innate desire to understand how systems work, investigate issues thoroughly, and continuously seek opportunities for learning and development.
Responsibilities- Execute and monitor test cases, ensuring alignment with functional and technical requirements
- Apply established quality assurance methodologies to identify, document, communicate and construct solutions for defects, inconsistencies, and system anomalies
- Analyze and compile test results and statistical data to support root cause analysis and performance benchmarking
- Recommend and support the implementation of corrective actions based on findings from testing and user feedback
- Evaluate products and services for quality, performance, functionality, and reliability
- Adhere to and promote organizational QA protocols and testing standards
- Log, track, and report software bugs and issues
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all QA activities, processes, and testing scenarios
- Provide technical support by responding to system-related inquiries and resolving issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Develop user-facing training materials as needed
- Write role-specific release notes after each release cycle
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Associate degree in a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a related field
- Experience collecting, dissecting, and analyzing data
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze large amounts of data supporting informed decisions
- Technical experience within Enterprise systems
- Meticulous attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy working with multiple forms of data
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, perform well, and execute within deadlines
- Natural curiosity and a passion for exploring new technologies and methodologies
- Proactive and quick learner, willing to take ownership of assignments to see through a successful completion
- Bachelors degree in similar or related discipline
- Experience working with Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, PowerBI, and/or Freshworks
- Experience working with Azure Dev Ops and Trello
- Experience working with SQL
