Optomi, in partnership with a leading global energy organization, is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, and support automation solutions across enterprise IT infrastructure. This individual will use scripting, coding, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to streamline infrastructure deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. The role supports cloud and on-premises environments, helping improve operational efficiency, system reliability, scalability, and security.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, 8 years related business experience.
- Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Power Shell, Terraform, and Linux-based technologies.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and API integrations.
- Familiarity with Linux and core infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Knowledge of servers, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments preferred.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and ongoing management.
- Write and maintain scripts using Python, Power Shell, and other relevant technologies to automate routine IT operations.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform or similar tools.
- Integrate infrastructure platforms and services through APIs and automation workflows.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, monitor system performance, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to plan and coordinate infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standardized procedures, and automation best practices.
