Position SummaryJob Description Systems Engineer Application Performance Monitoring APM Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer APM Engineer to support enterprise application monitoring platform operations and production support activities The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Application Performance Monitoring APM systems engineering platform administration and troubleshooting complex Java NET and Oracle based applications This role involves ensuring platform stability performing health checks implementing upgrades and patches identifying performance bottlenecks and driving root cause analysis for production incidents
Key Responsibilities- Perform platform administration health checks patching upgrades and maintenance activities
- Monitor and manage application performance using APM tools and monitoring platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Java NET and Oracle application environments
- Diagnose complex production incidents identify performance bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis
- Support operating systems middleware and infrastructure components across enterprise environments
- Collaborate with development infrastructure and operations teams to resolve critical issues
- Participate in incident problem and change management processes
- Develop and maintain operational documentation procedures and support runbooks
- Monitor system health availability and capacity to ensure optimal application performance
- Participate in oncall support rotations for production environments
- 5 years of Systems Engineering or Production Support experience
- Handson experience with one or more Application Performance Monitoring APM tools such as Dynatrace App Dynamics Splunk New Relic or Instana
- Strong knowledge of Linux Unix and system administration concepts
- Experience troubleshooting Java NET and Oracle based applications
- Expertise in incident management production support and root cause analysis
- Experience monitoring enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions under pressure
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
