** Our challenge
** We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Technology Engineer to support the engineering, implementation, integration, and operational management of technology used for regulatory electronic communications archiving and supervision. The ideal candidate will combine strong infrastructure and automation skills with practical experience supporting electronic communications in a regulated environment. This role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Power Shell and/or Python, Windows, messaging technologies such as Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Teams, and SMTP fundamentals.  

Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
** The Role
**** Responsibilities:
*** Engineer, implement, configure, and support solutions used for electronic communications capture, archiving, and supervision in a regulated environment.
* Support integration of messaging and collaboration platforms with enterprise communications archiving solutions.
* Work with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Teams and other electronic communication technologies to support compliant capture and archiving.
* Troubleshoot message delivery, routing, journaling/capture, connectivity, and integration issues across messaging and archival platforms.
* Apply strong knowledge of SMTP fundamentals, including mail flow, routing, relays, headers, and troubleshooting.
* Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to improve consistency, repeatability, and automation.
* Develop Power Shell and/or Python scripts for automation, monitoring, deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and operational support.
* Support Windows-based infrastructure and applications, including troubleshooting at the operating system and application layers.
* Partner with Compliance and technology stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
* Participate in production support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, upgrades, migrations, and remediation activities.
* Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture documentation, and support materials.
* Identify opportunities to improve automation, resiliency, monitoring, operational efficiency, and controls across the communications compliance environment.
