Ally and Your Career Ally Financial only succeeds when its people do - and that’s more than some cliché people put on job postings. We love this stuff! We see our people as, well, people - with interests, families, friends, dreams, and causes that are all important to them. Our focus is on the health and safety of our teammates as well as work-life balance and diversity and inclusion.
From generous benefits to a variety of employee resource groups, we strive to build paths that encourage employees to stretch themselves professionally. We want to help you grow, develop, and learn new things. You’re constantly evolving, so shouldn’t your opportunities be, too?

Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.
TheOpportunity
Own the security of AI at enterprise scale. As AI moves into production workflows and developer tooling, you'll be the engineer who makes sure it's secure, governed, and resilient - hardening ML and LLM pipelines, defending against AI-specific attacks, and turning AI into a force multiplier for security operations. You'll pair deep Dev Sec Ops and SRE fundamentals with cutting-edge AI security practice, and serve as the technical anchor for AI risk across every environment zone.
TheWork Itself
Secure the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle, including training data, models, deployment pipelines, LLM integrations, RAG, agentic workflows, and production monitoring. Implement protections for AI/LLM systems, including prompt injection and jailbreak defense, guardrails, output validation, adversarial testing, data leakage prevention, and AI supply chain security. Establish AI governance practices covering model risk, privacy, explainability, bias/drift monitoring, compliance, audit requirements, and approval processes. Develop AI-assisted security and operational capabilities to improve incident response, automate repetitive work, reduce toil, and increase efficiency.
Strengthen Dev Sec Ops practices through CI/CD security, SAST/DAST, container security, vulnerability management, infrastructure-as-code, and shift-left security. Maintain application and infrastructure reliability through monitoring, alerting, SLO/SLA management, disaster recovery, resiliency, and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Cloud Watch. Lead incident response, root cause analysis, production troubleshooting, vulnerability remediation, and preventative actions in a 24x7 environment. Automate manual processes using Python and Bash and identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce technical debt.
Partner with AI/ML, Cloud Engineering, Dev Ops, application teams, business stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions. Support regulatory and compliance requirements, including SOX, PCI, OCC, and FRB controls and audit evidence. Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, engineering standards, release/change management, and best practices.
