Business Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery and enhancement of a complex enterprise finance and accounting application within an SAP S/4

HANA environment. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, Product, and Technology teams to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and ensure solutions are delivered as expected.

The ideal candidate has significant experience working as a hands-on Business Analyst within SAP, S/4

HANA, or another large-scale ERP environment and has supported new product development, implementations, or complex application enhancements.

This is not primarily an application support role. We are looking for someone who has been actively involved throughout the software delivery lifecycle, from requirements and user stories through development, testing, and implementation.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and clarify complex business and functional requirements.
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements for technical delivery teams.
• Support an SAP S/4
  
  HANA product across cross-functional modules and business processes.
• Participate throughout the full software delivery lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through development, testing, UAT, and implementation.
• Work within an Agile delivery environment, participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Partner closely with developers and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve questions throughout development.
• Coordinate and support UAT and functional testing, validating that delivered functionality meets business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process or system improvements.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and end users to ensure technology solutions effectively address business needs.
• Support the delivery of new functionality and complex enhancements rather than solely maintaining existing applications.

What We're Looking For

• 8–10+ years of Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or related experience preferred.
• Experience working with SAP, SAP S/4
  
  HANA, or a comparable enterprise ERP platform.
• Experience supporting finance and/or accounting applications and business processes.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Hands-on experience developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software delivery environments.
• Demonstrated experience supporting products or applications through the full SDLC.
• Experience coordinating or participating in UAT, functional testing, defect resolution, and production readiness.
• Ability to work effectively between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clarify complex business and technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA.
• Experience with SAP Finance or accounting-related functionality.
• Knowledge of financial processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-Report, or Procure-to-Pay.
• Experience working across multiple SAP/ERP modules or cross-functional business processes.
• Experience delivering new products, ERP implementations, system transformations, or significant application enhancements.
• Experience working with Product Owners or Product Management teams.
