We are seeking an experienced Senior Dev Ops / Release Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise CI/CD platforms, deployment automation frameworks, and release orchestration solutions.

This position focuses on release automation, artifact promotion, software delivery lifecycle management, and deployment platform engineering
. Candidates must have hands-on development experience with Python, Jenkins, Ansible, JFrog Artifactory, and Git
, along with experience working within formal enterprise release governance processes.

• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and platforms such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD, or Harness.
• Build reusable pipeline-as-code solutions with conditional logic for branches, tags, release types, and deployment targets.
• Automate releases across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD, including approval gates, artifact promotion, and deployment controls.
• Develop Ansible playbooks from scratch, reusable roles, Jinja2 templates, and environment-specific inventories and configurations.
• Build Ansible Tower/AWX workflows, surveys, and role-based deployment processes.
• Develop Python automation for file processing, YAML/JSON/XML parsing, regex-based routing, subprocess execution, build automation, and release orchestration.
• Administer JFrog Artifactory repositories and implement artifact publishing, promotion, and lifecycle management.
• Manage Git branching strategies, release branches, tags, cherry-picking, merge conflicts, and Git LFS.
• Build Liquibase database deployment pipelines, including change logs, change sets, rollback strategies, and context-based deployments.
• Support change approvals, CAB processes, auditability, traceability, and compliance requirements.
• Standardize reusable deployment automation across multiple engineering teams and business units.

• 10+ years of experience in Dev Ops, CI/CD, Release Engineering, or Release Automation.
• Strong Jenkins Pipeline development experience using Jenkins files and Groovy.
• Strong hands-on Ansible playbook development and Ansible Tower/AWX experience.
• Hands-on JFrog Artifactory administration and artifact promotion experience.
• Advanced Git expertise, including branching and release strategies.
• Experience with Liquibase or comparable database release management tools.
• Strong Linux and shell scripting skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise SDLC, release governance, and controlled deployments.
• Demonstrated experience building automation used by multiple engineering teams.

• Payments domain experience with ACI, Volante, FIS, Fedwire, CHIPS, SWIFT, or ISO 20022.
• Financial services experience, particularly with Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citi, or Capital One.
• Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.

• Ansible playbooks developed from scratch, including Jinja2 templating and environment-specific deployments.
• CI/CD pipelines written as code with branching and conditional logic.
• Python automation involving file processing, subprocess execution, and structured data parsing.
• Release promotion across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD with approvals and deployment controls.

The primary focus is application release and deployment automation. Experience centered primarily on Terraform, networking, VPCs, or cloud infrastructure provisioning does not align with this opening.
