What's the Job?

Design and guide application security architecture to support secure identity, access, and API-driven workflows across enterprise environments. Partner with engineering teams to implement and operationalize security controls, ensuring evidence is captured and adoption is sustainable. Strengthen API gateway and traffic control capabilities through secure configuration, request validation, and rate limiting to reduce abuse and exposure. Mitigate threats by applying knowledge of OWASP Top 10 API vulnerabilities, injection attack patterns, and credential stuffing defenses.

Improve runtime protection by tuning Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and behavioral anomaly detection tools in collaboration with technical teams.

What's Needed?

Hands-on Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience with OAuth2/OIDC, JSON Web Tokens (JWT), scopes, claims, and preventing overly broad token authorizations. Ability to configure secure API gateways, including rate limiting and request validation, with a focus on protecting API endpoints. Knowledge of threat mitigation for OWASP Top 10 API vulnerabilities, injection attacks, and credential stuffing. Experience partnering with engineering teams to tune WAF and behavioral anomaly detection tools for improved detection and reduced false positives.
