Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio Company, is currently seeking a contract Immigration Spanish Interpreter to support one of our prestigious law firm clients for an onsite assignment in Charlotte, NC
.
Immigration Spanish Interpreters provide accurate and confidential interpretation and translation services between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking immigration officials and staff. They ensure clear communication during interviews, appointments, and related proceedings.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret spoken communication between Spanish and English accurately and impartially.
- Read and translate written documents such as forms, notices, and instructions.
- Assist during immigration interviews and appointments.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken, reading, and written).
- Strong reading comprehension and translation skills in both languages.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- No prior legal experience required.

Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

- Travel to various immigration sites is required as hearings dictate. Are you able to commute to and from immigration sites for hearings, meetings, etc.?
