Job Overview

We are seeking a Temp to Perm detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing supply chain processes. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management, data analysis, and procurement practices to support our operational goals effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Equiptment Operator
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in stock counts.
  • Collaborate with supply chain management to streamline warehouse distribution processes.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory movements and reporting discrepancies.
  • Analyze data for root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in purchasing decisions by evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts.
  • Support demand planning efforts through effective data collection and analysis.
  • Manage e-commerce inventory to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping & receiving processes.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in materials handling and inventory control.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting inventory metrics.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Experience with warehouse distribution, logistics, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis skills, including SQL and financial modeling techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for supplier management and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in warehouse settings.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, category management, and demand planning strategies.
  • Experience with data mining, analytics, and supply chain analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in Inventory Control.
