Warehouse Manager

Pay Range: $68,000.00 - $72,000.00

ACE is seeking someone passionate, customer-focused and driven by results with experience in warehousing to join our newest location in Charlotte, NC.

Manages warehouse operations, processes, and resources. Oversees receiving and stowing, picking and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance. Implements strong safety policies and procedures.

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a director. M02-Manager (True 1st level Manager):
Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first-level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Receiving and Shipping – attention to detail is critical
• Receiving UPS and truck shipments - Inventory control and tracking methods
• RF Scanner, Cherry Picker and Reach Truck - Experienced
• Picking, packing, and shipping daily orders
• Returns processing
• UPS and Fed Ex shipping, LTL, domestic and international

Managerial

Duties include:

• Communication - both written and oral
• Time management and multi-tasking - ability to manage time and prioritize tasks is essential
• Organizational Awareness and Strategic Thinking
• Leadership / Team Building
• Oversee general forklift maintenance
• Practice proper safety protocols and utilize required personal protective equipment

• Valid Drivers license
• 2+ years of warehouse experience in manufacturing environment
• Comfortable with order processing
• Ability to work well with ERP system
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good computer skills/Microsoft, Excel, Outlook and Word
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
