Summary
Seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive the growth and profitability of our specialty dealership insurance program. This pivotal role involves managing P&L, developing strategic partnerships and expanding coverage to diverse dealer markets. The ideal candidate will leverage industry expertise and technological innovation to build a scalable, niche-focused insurance business that delivers value, improves loss ratios, and solidifies our position as a market leader in specialty dealer insurance.
Requirements
- Proven success in managing and scaling insurance programs with P&L ownership
- Strong experience in dealer markets such as RV, powersports, and/or light industrial equipment, including distribution strategy and relationship management
- Knowledge of commercial lines, personal lines, and F&I products tailored to dealers
- Ability to collaborate with underwriting and technology teams to enhance product offerings
- Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic partnerships and driving market expansion
- Strategic mindset with problem‑solving capabilities in complex, niche markets
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, tech‑enabled environment with a collaborative approach
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the P&L for the specialty dealer insurance program, ensuring profitability and growth
- Develop and implement strategies to scale the program nationally and globally
- Manage relationships with key partners and distribution channels to expand market reach
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to continuously improve product offerings based on data‑driven insights
- Lead market expansion efforts into marine, agriculture, equipment, and heavy machinery dealer segments
- Oversee product lines, including commercial and personal coverage, warranty, and reinsurance programs
- Integrate loss control initiatives leveraging technology for better risk management
- Maintain thought leadership within the specialty dealer market by innovating and addressing dealer challenges effectively
