Job Description:

Albemarle is hiring “Site Operations Lead” to be part of growing Digital Technology Hub at Bangalore, KA, India.

This job coordinates, integrates and administers a range of diverse administrative or staff functions and would directly report to Hub Site Leader. Areas of responsibility include Site Facility Management, Vendor & Contract Management with Local Procurement, Site Budget Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting, Visitor Management, Site Asset Management etc.

What You Will Do Facilities Operations & Service Coordination
  • Governance of Albemarle Hub facilities and operational management.
  • Reorganizing current building space as per hub growth to maximize space utilization.
  • Overseeing management of facilities stock related to utility, housekeeping, office supplies, panty condiments, beverages and other employee/site items
  • Coordinating and planning essential business services such as maintenance, reception, archiving, mailing, cleaning, waste disposal, and security.
  • Ensuring seamless daily operations that support the business environment.
Vendor Management and Local Sourcing/Procurement
  • Support in development of local site vendor strategy and drive RFPs
  • Identifying and selecting potential vendors for various indirect categories (e.g., office supplies, IT, travel, employer branding, food, beverages, etc.).
  • Leading negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
  • Provisioning relevant support and be POC for DTH related procure to pay process
  • Managing contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreed‑upon terms and conditions.
  • Analyzing spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Site Ops. Budget Management
  • Own end-to-end site operations budget planning, consolidation, and reporting
  • Support leadership and stakeholders in “Track Actuals vs. Budget Performance, flag variances, and drive corrective actions.”
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and spending.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
  • Partner with WHQ, regional leadership, and site leadership team to align operational plans and share key insights.
  • Prepare executive‑level reports, dashboards, and financial reviews for DTH
  • Support audits, compliance activities, and corporate reporting requirements.
Compliance & Safety Management
  • Ensuring buildings and facilities meet health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Adhering to government legislation related to facilities and workplace safety.
  • Own site BCP and coordinated with global compliance
Emergency Response & Issue Resolution
  • Responding swiftly and effectively to workplace emergencies.
  • Implementing appropriate solutions to mitigate impact and restore operations.
Visitor Management
  • Oversee daily visitor operations to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate with reception, security, and administrative teams for smooth visitor check‑ins and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.
  • Create visitor agenda and arrange logistics for their welcome. Oversee and manage all needs during Albemarle stakeholder’s visit at Albemarle India sites.
IT Town Hall & Event Management
  • Plan and execute IT town halls, internal meetings, and employee engagement events.
  • Coordinate with IT, facilities, communications, and leadership to deliver seamless event experiences.
  • Manage event logistics including venue setup, technical support, agenda planning, and feedback collection.
  • IT Asset Management – Ownership as local POC and governance as per IT policies
