About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Lead Project Manager to drive highly complex, long-term programs across multiple business lines. This role requires exceptional leadership, strong risk/financial crimes acumen, and the ability to operate independently with minimal onboarding. You will manage significant work streams, engage with executive leadership, and provide strategic direction for large enterprise initiatives.

This is a functional project management role, not technical — ideal for a seasoned PM who excels at change management, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and advise executives on program success, prioritization, dependency management, and change strategies.

  • Manage large-scale, multi-year programs with high visibility and risk.

  • Oversee planning, governance, financial management, status reporting, and risk/issue management.

  • Resolve highly complex challenges across multiple business units.

  • Lead work streams related to financial crimes risk assessments (BSA, AML, Sanctions) as needed.

  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.

  • Drive consensus, communicate program vision, and ensure delivery milestones are met.

  • Represent the program in executive-level discussions and steering committees.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience

  • OR equivalent through consulting, military, or business leadership roles.

  • Proven ability to manage large, complex, enterprise-level programs.

  • Strong change management, communication, and executive presence.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in Financial Services, especially matrixed or regulated environments.

  • Financial Crimes Risk Management:

    • BSA

    • AML

    • Sanctions / Sanctions Screening

    • Transaction monitoring or risk assessment exposure

  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.

  • Ability to operate autonomously, manage ambiguity, and drive direction
