Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in the packaging industry, is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical ability, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $25 per hour and up

** Shift:
** Night

Shift: 6:15 PM - 5:45 AM -  2-2-3 Schedule

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead the team in line setup and changeover of products, identifying critical controls and issues.

+ Provide production run sheets to packaging machine operators to complete daily production runs.

+ Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies as needed.

+ Assist with keeping the production line consistently operating and clear of jams.

+ Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S.

** What's Needed?*
* + Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

+ Good solid computer skills and ability to express instructions clearly.

+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, and fractions).

+

Experience with maintenance or production machinery is preferred.
