DSJ Global is partnered with a leading manufacturing organization committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting automated production systems.
Base Pay Range$85,000 - $95,000 per year
Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Concord, North Carolina
Industry: Automotive Components Manufacturing
Job Type: Full-Time
- Provide daily technical support for automated manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve downtime issues involving PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
- Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks and waste through process optimization.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability and safety.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend and implement automation and tooling improvements to boost efficiency and quality.
- Design and implement tooling and process solutions using Solid Works and AutoCAD.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Hands‑on experience with automated manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
