Quality Coordinator (Electrical/Mechanical)

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to ensure mechanical and electrical products meet company, customer, and industry quality standards in a manufacturing environment. This role supports inspections, quality documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, welds, and finished products against drawings and standards
  • Perform testing on mechanical and electrical components (voltage, continuity, resistance, tolerances)
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), calibration records, and quality documentation
  • Support troubleshooting, corrective actions, and root‑cause analysis
  • Assist with ISO quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Apply NDT methods (MPI/LPI) as required
  • Communicate quality issues with engineering and cross‑functional teams
  • Support on‑site installations, service, and warranty work as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology (preferred)
  • 3–5+ years in manufacturing or industrial quality (ISO environment preferred)
  • Experience with mechanical fabrication, welding inspection, and industrial electrical systems
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AWS/CSA standards, and NEC regulations
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics (mechanical & electrical)
  • Basic PLC knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as required
