ITAD Operators are responsible for the identification, sorting, reconciliation, and de-manufacturing of IT assets in alignment with Sprout’s operational and environmental standards. With increasing responsibilities and technical proficiency, ITAD Operators advance through Levels 1 to 4 based on experience and demonstrated skills.

• Product Identification:
  Recognize and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.
• Material Handling:
  Safely transport materials across the site.
• Organizing Stock:
  Keep workstations and stock areas organized.
• De-Manufacturing:
  Disassemble IT assets into constituent parts for recycling or disposal.
• Adherence to Operational Procedures.
• Safety and Security Compliance:
  Follow all safety protocols and data security procedures (R2v3, ISO 27001).
• Basic product identification and material handling.
• Perform standard de-manufacturing and basic record‑keeping tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure safety compliance.

• Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding the English language.
• Ability to accurately type 40 words per minute.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic.
• Experience with hand tools (power drill, pliers, etc.)
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, when needed.
• Adaptability to changing tasks and expectations.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety compliance.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for an entire shift.
• Experience in a warehouse environment required. Previous ITAD experience preferred.
