Job SummaryMiller Electric‑Prefabrication Designer reports to the Prefabrication Manager. Responsibilities are focused on supporting Prefabrication Initiatives for the Company. In this role you will be able to contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned duties in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.

- Create Prefabrication Solutions for Construction Projects
- Coordinate with Prefabrication Manager on inputs required for Prefabrication Execution
- Provide input on Prefabrication Process
- Create documentation that will inform Prefabrication Team what to build utilizing AutoCAD/Revit/Excel/Bluebeam
- Edit and track Prefabrication schedules
- Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Demonstrates problem‑solving ability and can work under rigorous schedules
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- 10% Communication, Meetings
- 30% working on prefabrication shop floor with team
- 50% creating collateral for prefabrication team to build
- 10% coordinating with Project Teams
- Ability to work in an industrial environment
- Ability to maneuver 25+ lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to withstand extended exposure to a computer monitor, which may at times be strenuous on the eyes

Travel is primarily local during the business day. Ability to qualify for DOT Certification preferred.
Qualifications- Ability to read & interpret Construction Drawings & Documentation.
- Understanding Construction Project Flows & Sequences.
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial electrical experience with a focus on conduit fabrication and installation.
- Experience running crews of electricians preferred.
- Experience working with prefabrication preferred.
- Membership in the IBEW will be required as a condition for employment (if not currently a member).
- Ability to Draw, dimension & communicate ideas.
- Ability to research and comprehend materials, tools & equipment.
- Experience with Navisworks or Autodesk Construction Cloud Preferred.
- Basic AutoCAD and/or Revit Preferred.
- Bluebeam Preferred.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and efficiently use software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, and file‑sharing platforms.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment‑based visa sponsorship (including H‑1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
