Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our ASC team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and weld components for industrial weighing systems and related equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety and technical standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver reliable, precise products to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
  • Cut, fabricate, and weld metal parts to customer specifications.
  • Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Manage time efficiently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle on a daily basis.
Essential Functions
  • Stand for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Visually inspect completed work.
  • Respond to audio prompts.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Education and Experience
  • 1–2 years welding experience.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding preferred.
