Overview

Our client is a dynamic, industry-leading organization in logistics and contract manufacturing, is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure efficient production operations. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing production workflows, resolving issues, and optimizing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for workflow and quality improvements.
  • Oversee enhancements to production systems and implement corrective actions in response to operational problems.
  • Manage and implement preventive measures following root cause analysis of production disruptions.
  • Direct production teams, coordinating with planning, inventory, and maintenance personnel to ensure adequate materials, documentation, and uptime.
  • Collaborate with both internal departments and external partners to maintain accurate schedules and supply chain efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation for all production methods, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
  • Support production lead staff in reconciling materials and completing work orders.
  • Assist quality assurance representatives in maintaining batch records, resolving production issues, and completing investigations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing or a related technical field.
  • Minimum three years of production management or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and quality control practices.
  • Skilled in process optimization and implementation of operational efficiencies.
  • Experience with electronic and mechanical troubleshooting, including sensors and operational interfaces.
  • Detail-oriented approach to maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience in food production, or in related industries, is advantageous.
