We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, as well as performing facility maintenance. This position requires expertise in electronics, hydraulics, robotics, and computer systems. Experience in plastics injection molding manufacturing is highly preferred.
Schedule: 2‑2‑3, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 plus hourly rates, annual performance‑based merit increases. Benefits include three weeks of paid vacation, ten paid holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Operate shop equipment, including milling machines, band saws, drill presses, lathes, welders, concrete drills, torches, and electrical testers.
- Properly use a variety of powered and non‑powered hand tools.
- Obtain training and certification for forklift and aerial lift operation as required.
- Utilize the overhead crane in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Assist with mold changes on injection molding machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair injection molding and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain facility services, including water, compressed air, and electrical supply.
- Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and complete assigned work orders using a computerized PM system.
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities.
- Identify and communicate the need for spare or replacement parts.
- Follow all safety procedures, including:
- Lockout/tagout
- Fall protection
- Electrical safe work practices
- Personal protective equipment requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in injection molding maintenance or completion of a maintenance training program.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic systems.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
