Atrium Health Urgent Care Eastland is conveniently located at the intersection of Central Avenue and Albemarle Road in Charlotte, NC. We provide high-quality, compassionate care for patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of medical needs—from common illnesses like coughs and rashes to more urgent concerns such as sprains, fractures, and minor injuries.

Our dedicated team includes two providers (MD, DO, PA, or NP), one Registered Nurse, two Certified Medical Assistants, and a Radiologic Technologist.

We proudly serve a diverse patient population, representing a variety of languages, ethnicities, and cultures. The ideal candidate for our team is confident yet empathetic, able to communicate effectively—with or without an interpreter—and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Flexibility and a willingness to assist across roles are essential to ensuring exceptional patient care.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • 3 Years of RN experience with Urgent Care, ED, ICU (preferred)
  • Experience with Patient Population from newborns to geriatrics (preferred)
  • Preferred Language Skills Bilingual, with Spanish being the highest priority
  • Bachelor’s in nursing (preferred)
What You’ll Do
  • Three 12‑hour shifts a week with every other weekend
  • Work closely with 2 Providers, 2 CMAs, and 1 RTR, focusing on patient flow management, lab work, triaging, drug screening, worker’s compensation, and patient education
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, empathy, and a friendly demeanor
  • Support CMAs with higher acuity patients and issues, and work effectively within a team environment while handling solo tasks
  • Oversee daily workflows for two clinical teams, support 3 APPs, 4 physicians, and 6 clinical teammates, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance with standards
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
