Where You Will Work:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled nurse to join our Urologic Surgical Oncology team. This role supports a busy urology oncology practice with a focus on prostate, renal, bladder, and testicular cancer care, including intravesical chemotherapy and immunotherapy for the treatment of bladder cancer. The nurse will work 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with two days dedicated to clinic in office with a surgeon.

The other two days are dedicated to nursing visits and intravesical therapy.

We’re Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • One year of Nursing experience needed

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Job Summary

Assesses and diagnoses patients in a practice setting. Identifies outcomes, implements treatment and coordinates care. Performs and assists with oncology and infusion related treatments, therapies, and procedures.

Essential Functions
  • Identifies expected outcomes for patients' individualized treatment plan.
  • Implements identified treatment plan and coordinates all aspects of care delivery.
  • Provides education and counseling to patient and family members regarding identified health needs, health care activities, immunization requirements, medication effects and contraindications.
  • Meets specific clinical needs of oncology and infusion patients by using knowledge and expertise.
