Where You Will WorkThe LCH 7A General Pediatric Unit is a 15-bed general pediatric unit. We see ages ranging from newborn to 18 and care for a wide variety of diagnoses including respiratory, gastrointestinal, surgical, endocrine and many more. Our unit prides itself on working well together while caring for the most precious little ones and their families!
Expectations We’re Looking For- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric or hematology/oncology inpatient experience preferred
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
