We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Neurological Nurse Practitioner for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity starts on Feb 9, 2026, and features 7p-7a night shifts across several week-long blocks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold the required Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Gerontology (ACCNS-AG) board certification.
Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is essential for this role.

- Provide advanced clinical care in neurological surgery settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care
- Utilize Epic EMR system for all patient documentation and workflow
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for neurological surgery patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Minimum 2 years experience required
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Required board certification:
Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Gerontology (ACCNS-AG) - Epic EMR experience required
