A highly respected partner hospital in Ballantyne, NC is now hiring a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM). This is an incredible opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a fulfilling role focused solely on urgent care —
no routine wellness visits, no abdominal surgeries, and no overnight ER shifts
. You’ll be part of a collaborative, Fear Free Certified team in a modern, fully equipped facility where your expertise and time are truly valued.

• Urgent care only – treat walk-in, non-critical cases like GI issues, lameness, minor injuries, and palliative care
• No abdominal surgeries or routine wellness appointments

• Diagnose and manage urgent medical cases with efficiency and compassion
• Prescribe medications, perform diagnostics, and recommend next-step care
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding care plans and outcomes
• Document all patient records in a cloud-based EMR
• Collaborate with team members to uphold medical excellence
• Support the development of veterinary nurses via the Level Up training program

• DVM or VMD degree (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE)
• Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina
• 1–3 years’ experience in urgent care or small animal medicine preferred (new grads also welcome!)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and case management skills
