The Grounds Crew plays a key role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and overall presentation of Marsh Properties’ residential and commercial communities. This position is responsible for a wide range of landscaping and maintenance tasks that keep our grounds clean, attractive, and well cared for. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and takes pride in their work—contributing to the high standards that define the Marsh Properties experience.

• Perform all activities related to grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, blowing debris from curbs and common areas, trimming trees and shrubs, and spreading mulch.
• Maintain cleanliness by removing litter, debris, and leaves from community grounds and common areas.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, chain saws, and pressure washers safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate larger machinery such as dump trucks, tractors, and bobcats when required.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal and distribution of ice melt.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety concerns observed during daily rounds.
• Maintain an organized grounds shop, including inventory of supplies and routine equipment maintenance.
• Participate in the on‑call (Saturday) rotation and assist with after‑hours needs during seasonal periods.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related field.
• Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment and small engines.
• Physical ability to lift 50-75 pounds and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Preferred:

• Experience in small engine, truck, or landscape equipment repair.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
