We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Quality team located at our office in Charlotte, NC
. This position encompasses both shop and field responsibilities, ensuring that quality standards are consistently upheld throughout the fabrication and installation processes. Our ideal candidate is someone with 3+ years of experience who has meticulous attention to detail for top-quality fabrication, and strong communication skills for effective team and partner collaboration.

• Performing thorough inspections, audits, and tests on mechanical systems such as HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing to verify adherence to design specifications, codes, and standards, proactively addressing discrepancies and suggesting improvements to enhance quality.
• Collaborating with the Quality Management team, Project Managers, Engineers, and construction personnel to offer advice on quality matters.
• Reviewing and ensuring project documentation, including plans, specifications, and submissions, meets quality requirements.
• Maintaining meticulous records of quality control measures including inspection reports, testing outcomes, quality assurance checklists, and certification specific to assigned projects. Ensuring comprehensive documentation is accessible and well organized for reference.
• Overseeing pressure tests on piping and ductwork to certify system integrity and compliance with safety and quality benchmarks.

• Possessing a weld inspection certification (CWI, VT‑Level II, API, etc.) is preferred.
• Expertise in Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Sheet Metal) and their associated codes and standards.
• Capable of periodic travel to job sites and fabrication shops to perform quality‑related tasks as needed.
• Experienced in welding, brazing, fusing, testing, and examination.
• Analytical acumen with proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and test results.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
• Showcase strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentational skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, clients, and other contractors.
