About the Job

This position will support the quality planning, control, and improvement activities led by Teguar's Quality Manager. These activities ensure quality assurance of the production of products and services consistent with established standards.

Your role is vital to fostering continuous engagement with our Operations, Sales and Product Management groups. You will also benefit from cross‑training opportunities where you'll have exposure to supplier and customer engagement.

You will be a key contributor supporting initiatives that impact each of our medical and industrial customers. Your contribution is vital in establishing Teguar as more than a computer supplier, but also as a partner who will directly impact their goal of keeping the community healthy and keeping pace with the innovation in the medical field, ultimately saving lives around the globe.

Your

main responsibilities...
  • Assist the Quality Manager in managing the quality management system.
  • Manage QMS software for tools and equipment.
  • Lead internal audits of the Quality Management System and present findings.
  • Authorize vendors for certified shipments after verifying documentation.
  • Adjust QC levels to meet procedural requirements.
  • Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee nonconformance records to ensure timely closure.
  • Conduct regular checks of production quality assessments and report findings.
  • Maintain awareness of product/process failures related to complaints.
  • Ensure products meet customer requirements and documentation standards.
  • Investigate job enhancement and development opportunities.
  • Support Teguar's lean initiatives and ISO objectives.
  • Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Engage in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Communicate supplier quality assurance requirements.
  • Participate in interdepartmental continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree from a two‑year college or 2‑3 years of experience in Quality Control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, a plus.
  • Experience managing measuring & tool equipment (MT&E) & gauge calibration systems, preferred.
  • Experience creating & reviewing technical documents (procedures, inspection reports, etc.).
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams in continuous improvement activities.
  • Document control experience.
  • Working knowledge of problem‑solving methods (i.e., 5

    WHY, Ishikawa cause & effect analysis, 8D).
  • Data collecting and analysis.
  • Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (Net Suite is a plus).
  • Experience using QMS software to generate nonconforming reports/records, preferred.
