Minimum Experience/Education
:
- Must have been awarded a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within the last four years (e.g., Sc.D., M.D.).
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
:
- Must have obtained a Ph.D. or equivalent by the official start date and demonstrate daily scientific judgment.
- Evaluation of experimental data, literature, and communication to make research decisions.
- Preferred experience in Tumor Biology and/or muscle biology.
- Experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g., qPCR, Western Blot).
- Experience with mouse handling.
- Dr. Dasgupta’s lab focuses on novel targets/therapies for pancreatic cancer associated muscle wasting and tumor-host crosstalk.

A Postdoctoral Fellow is a professional apprenticeship designed to provide recent Ph.D. recipients with opportunities to develop research skills, learn new techniques, and prepare for an academic or research career. The primary duty is to lead projects and mentor junior trainees.
