- Work Schedule:
Typically, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, but occasional evenings and weekends - Pay Rate: $52,000
- Minimum Experience/
Education:
Required Qualifications- Completed doctoral degree in Kinesiology, Behavioral Sciences, Health Promotion, Public Health or closely related areas with an interest working with urban communities by start date
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Analytic programming/coding skills for data management and statistical analyses
- Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to work independently within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team
- Attention to detail

Preferred Experience , Skills, Training/
Education:
Preferred Qualifications- Human research experience in home and/or community environments
- Knowledge of working with theories from health and social psychology
- Qualitative and quantitative research methodology experience
- Special consideration given to individuals with experience and publications in the areas of behavioral interventions, community-based research, racialized/minoritized communities, and/or yoga
- Duties and Responsibilities
- Serving as a research trainee to further develop and refine research skills;
- Engaging in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of research projects under the guidance of Dr. Barr-Anderson;
- Analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative research data;
- Aiding in the creation of research materials for the publication of technical reports, articles, and/or conference talks; and
- Actively engaging in the grant‑writing process to secure additional funding.
