Position Summary

The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality‑focused Dining Room Sever to join our fine dining culinary team on a full‑time basis. This role provides full‑scope, hands‑on serving functions within the community.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
  • Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
  • Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
  • Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
  • Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • Must be age 16 or older.
  • Experience in food service work preferred but will train.
  • Experience in working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
