Job Summary:

The Food Runner at the Gallery Restaurant is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guest tables swiftly and accurately. This role requires excellent coordination and communication skills to ensure guests receive their meals in a timely manner and have an outstanding dining experience. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and capable of working well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Orders:
  Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Assist Servers:
  Support the serving staff by clearing tables and providing additional service as needed.
• Maintain Cleanliness:
  Keep dining and serving areas clean and organized, including clearing dishes and resetting tables.
• Communicate Effectively:
  Work closely with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Guest Interaction:
  Provide courteous and friendly service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Ensure Quality:
  Verify that all orders are complete and meet the restaurant’s quality standards before delivery.
• Follow Safety Protocols:
  Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry heavy trays.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
