Job Description
Schedule:
2-3 shifts per week
Breakfast hours:
F-M 6:00am-10:00am
Sa-Su 6:30am-10:30pm
Dinner hours:
M-Su 4:30pm-10:30pm
JOB SUMMARYThe Bistro at Courtyard is a chic, fast-casual concept restaurant offering an eclectic menu including a variety of refreshing to-go options as well as full sit-down fare including cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Our Bistro Team Members master a wide variety of food & beverage functions, including cashier, barista, bartending and prep cook.
JOB DUTIES- Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards, anticipates and addresses guests’ service needs, assists individuals with disabilities, and thanks guests with genuine appreciation.
- This position processes all orders and collects payment from customers and aids in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests.
- Monitors and maintains stock of breakfast sandwiches and other breakfast items.
- This position also performs general cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others and supports team to reach common goals.
- Follows end of shift bank count procedures as well as and follows property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.
- Ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Performs other reasonable job duties as requested.
- Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress
- Flexible schedule, must be able to work mornings and evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous Micros, server, cook, bartender and or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Basic reading writing, math, and computer skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- FOSSE experience preferred
- Marriott experience/bistro experience preferred
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
- Stands, sits, or walks for an extended time period.
