Donation Material Handler – Ballantyne East Store – Full Time

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking a Donation Material Handler to work at Ballantyne East Store. This full‑time position offers a competitive starting wage of $15 per hour, annual raises, bonuses, and a complete benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load and unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout the shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to elements is possible.

• Friendly and dependable team player who enjoys helping others.
• No prior experience required; we provide training.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, moving merchandise.
• Open to feedback and eager to grow through free skill‑building opportunities.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and ready to work in a team‑focused environment.
• Expect plenty of standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing or balancing.
• Capable of lifting up to 100+ pounds.
