Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour

Target On-Demand Team Members (TMs) can work as much or as little as needed. Schedules may vary based on shift availability and store needs. Participation requires picking up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app, attending onboarding, and completing a short-term training period. Attendance and responsiveness to shift opportunities are essential for success in this role.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and answer questions about tools, products, and services.
• Be knowledgeable about store offerings, including fulfillment services, to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Assist with guest transactions at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up while ensuring quality.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; direct guests to enroll in and use fulfillment services.
• Help guests use Wallet and other Target App features; guide them on how to use Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry services.
• Handle returns following register prompts and escalate to leaders as needed to resolve guest issues.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience following Target policies.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Work safely and in compliance with all safety policies and training; report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders and returns with compliance to relevant laws.
• Assist with cash office processes as needed.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Excellent communication and the ability to interact with guests and team members to create an inclusive guest experience.
• Ability to solve problems, adapt to different interactions, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to educate guests about products and services and to engage across multiple communication devices.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak times; willingness to pick up shifts and respond to inquiries promptly.

• Cash handling and ability to perform cash office tasks as needed.
• Ability to scan, move, and handle merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments near drive-up, carryout, etc.
• Shift mobility and endurance for the duration of scheduled hours.
