AboutThe Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to own new business generation, build pipeline, and close clients for Wonder Cave. You will be a quota‑bearing, client‑facing seller who partners with product and delivery teams to convert opportunities into long‑term engagement and revenue. This role is located in Charlotte, NC and includes travel for conferences and prospective client meetings.
What You’ll Do- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across political and advocacy buyers
- Own opportunity management and CRM hygiene to enable predictable forecasting and pipeline health
- Draft compelling proposals, commercial terms, and sales collateral for campaign and advocacy buyers
- Coordinate scoping, pricing, and handoffs with product and delivery teams to ensure smooth, profitable onboarding
- Represent Wonder Cave at industry conferences and lead prospective client meetings as needed
- Communicate frequently and transparently with leadership and internal teams
- 3+ years of hands‑on sales or business development experience
- Political or campaign experience preferred;
Hill relationships or right‑of‑center networks a plus - Experience selling integrated digital products, platforms, or agency services to campaigns, PACs, or advocacy organizations
- Strong written and verbal communicator with demonstrated ability to prepare proposals and lead business development conversations
- Comfortable working in a quota‑driven environment and traveling periodically for conferences and prospective client meetings
- Familiarity with CRMs used for agency sales and pipeline management
- Existing network in the political agency or campaign space is a plus
- Hybrid in‑office schedule in Arlington, VA or Charlotte, NC
- Periodic travel required
