Working with property-based Director of Sales and sales team to implement sales strategies that will continuously improve market share and profitability. This individual will be responsible for ensuring sales activities at the hotel support the overall sales plan to produce budgeted numbers and index goals.

• Working with property-based Director of Sales and sales team to implement sales strategies that will continuously improve market share and profitability. Review and respond to Banquet Event Order, Group Contracts, RFP
• This individual will be responsible for ensuring sales activities at the hotel support the overall sales plan to produce budgeted numbers and index goals
• Provide leadership and sales training to each assigned hotel in order to improve performance
• Maintain a strong awareness of competitor hotels, market conditions, the mix of business, and pricing trends for each hotel within the portfolio
• Conduct regular property visits to identify areas of opportunity and develop action plans with the sales leaders to improve performance
• Ensure all sales leaders have up-to-date quarterly action plans that are reviewed timely
• Actively participate in the sales process for each hotel while providing feedback and guidance to increase productivity
• Meet and develop relationships with market CVB leaders and top accounts for each assigned hotel
• Develop relationships with brand representatives and participate in relevant training and programs to gain a better overall understanding of the brand and available sales tools
• Actively participate in property sales calls, key site tours, and sales blitzes
• Ensure all collateral represents the appropriate image and tone of the property
• Ensure sales leaders and hotels within the region are following standard operating procedures as it relates to sales and revenue management processes and procedures
• Assist hotels with developing sales plans and target accounts to achieve desired market share
