As a Security Officer - Armed Security Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. As a Patrol Armed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Assist in the enforcement of location rules, regulations, and procedures, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required during incidents.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain preparedness for security-related emergencies.

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
