As a Security Officer - Armed Branch Security in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, delivering outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with clients and visitors.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time – Tue 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM;
Wed 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM;
Thur 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM;
Fri 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM;
Sat 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using appropriate de‑escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and reporting irregularities.
• Assist with access control measures, including checking identification and logging visitor information.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders following established protocols.
• Complete detailed incident and patrol reports documenting observations and actions during the shift.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Eligibility for background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applications with criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements per state and/or local laws may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
