As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Part-Time in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to build a schedule that works for you. Learn more about schedule flexibility at  As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security‑related incidents and maintaining a visible presence.

The position requires routine patrols and engagement with clients and visitors to provide outstanding customer service.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time Sat  11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol role.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business interiors and perimeters, to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security‑related presence.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site‑specific policies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, following all protocols for an armed post in a financial institution environment.

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
