As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Full-Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, respond to inquiries, and communicate clearly with tenants and visitors.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor activity within the property.
• Collaborate with property management and first responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
