As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Specialist in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment.

• Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour
• Job Schedule: Day Time (Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Perform regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and utilize appropriate escalation protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when required.
• Maintain a professional and approachable presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and customers.

• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Age 21 or older for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening as required by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
