As a Security Officer – Armed Bank Branch in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. This Part‑Time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you. As a Patrol Armed Officer you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and maintain a visible presence throughout the property.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day
• Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Sun 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using appropriate judgment and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the financial institution and around its perimeter to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to deter unauthorized access and observe any unusual behavior.
• Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site‑specific protocols.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement personnel as required.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with authorized firearms, adhering to all applicable regulations and Allied Universal policies regarding armed posts.

• At least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED.
• Age 21 or older (21 for armed roles).
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo drug screening as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
