Security Officer - Hotel Patrol - Charlotte, NC

You will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Hotels & Resorts. As an unarmed patrol officer at a premier hotel location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to create a secure environment for guests and staff. Your presence deters security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. • Provide excellent customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit points to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Work closely with hotel staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to assist guests and help deter potential issues.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
