As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Desk in Charlotte, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service through strong communication. • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter and report suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide assistance and information as needed.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
