Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Full‑Time Front Desk Officers in the Downtown Charlotte, NC area. 1st and 2nd shift are available! This position offers a pay rate of $19.50/hr – paid weekly.
The Security Coordinator supports daily security operations to help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and facilities. This role is ideal for someone beginning a career in corporate security who is eager to learn, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused. You will utilize your skill to deliver excellent customer service to client visitors or associates.

Key Responsibilities- Greet, welcome, and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Conduct regular patrols via foot and golf cart.
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems.
- Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.
- Manage visitor sign‑in and maintain front desk security procedures.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain reception area cleanliness and organization.
- Schedule meetings and manage conference room calendars.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks (data entry, filing, scanning).
- Support office supply inventory and ordering.
- Coordinate with internal teams to direct inquiries appropriately.
- Follow company policies related to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Assist with daily security operations, including access control, badge requests, and visitor management.
- Support event security coordination and meeting security needs.
- Monitor and document security incidents and elevate concerns appropriately.
- Maintain security logs, reports, and documentation.
- Provide professional and courteous service to employees and guests.
- Serve as a point of contact for basic security questions and requests.
- Learn company policies, procedures, and security systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the security team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
