HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring full‑time, part‑time, and flexible Security Officers for all days and shifts in the Downtown Charlotte, NC area. These positions offer a pay rate of $18.00/hr and are paid weekly.

Available shifts:
Monday to Saturday, first, second and third shifts.

Applicants must have excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the property on foot and via golf cart.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, and in‑person.
• Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs using computer systems.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, building management, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Enforce building policies and procedures consistently and respectfully.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Assist with evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols.

Applicants should have reliable transportation and a current/valid driver’s license. Prior security officer, military, or law enforcement background is preferred. Duties are defined by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must become extremely knowledgeable of these directives and act quickly and efficiently.

High School diploma or equivalent.

PPSB License.
