Unarmed Security Attendants IN CHARLOTTE, NC Military experience PREFERRED, but not required. Veterans are encouraged to apply. 1-3 years security experience.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available, various construction based worksite shifts and locations in the Charlotte NC area.

Pay: $18/hr with 1 year or less experience — $19–$20/hr with 2 or more years experience. This is an ON-SITE position - No remote work. Attendants report to their assigned client site, and schedule vary by contract, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Must Have Requirements (in order of importance)

Eligibility:

Must pass initial and all random DRUG Analysis
Musthave CLEAN criminal background check.
Must have CLEAN driving record.

No speeding tickets or worse within the last 3 years.
Must have a current North Carolina Private Protective Services Board (NCPPSB) unarmed registration.

On the job:

Must have ability to DE-ESCALATE heated situations he/she may encounter while on duty.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Must be able to accept job-related constructive criticism in order to become better at his/her job duties.

Logistics:

Must have own reliable transportation.
Must be PUNCTUAL

Must be willing to wear uniform as instructed.
Must be able to maintain a professional appearance in uniform.
Must be able to maintain professional grooming.

Duties:

Unarmed attendants maintain a security presence on client construction sites. Coverage depends on the contract: 8-hour shifts (typically 12am–8am), 12-hour shifts (6pm–6am), and 24-hour site coverage (12pm–12pm rotation).
Conduct hourly rounds (foot or mobile) of your assigned site. After each round, complete log entries documenting site conditions, discoveries, and incidents.
Beyond the standard Observe / Report / Deter / Detect: detain (only when it can be done safely), ban, and remove unauthorized visitors from the site.
Before any physical action is taken, alert dispatch about the situation and request additional units for backup, as well as BOPA Special Police and or local police as needed.
